Spring and summer brings many visitors to Middleburg with all the local events such as the our Middleburg Community Farmers Market which is open every Saturday morning from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon through October 26, located behind the Middleburg Community Center. Other Events: 4th of July Celebration at the Middleburg Community Center including fireworks at dusk, the first weekend in August is the Summer Sidewalk Sale. Watch for more information.

Our town is full of wonderful history, fantastic dining and lots of special shops! Hopefully you will take time to support our small businesses by shopping and dining in our town. Our many new businesses along with our established ones, offer something for everyone…… and at ALL prices ranges! I see a line at Scruffy's this time of year for their delicious ice cream!

Look for more announcements through the spring and summer with the anticipated debut of Salamander Resort & Spa in August. Also check out the exciting news about the Middleburg Film Festival which will be October 25 - 27, 2013.

Congratulations to all the graduates from our local schools and to their families.

Part time admin assistant/secretary for the Middleburg Police Department. 23 hours per week. No weekends under most circumstances. Pay is $13.50 per hour. Typical skill set for this type of position. The Town of Middleburg has issued its Annual Drinking Water Quality Report, also known as the Consumer Confidence Report , for 2012. This report is designed to inform you about your drinking water. Copies of the report were mailed to each water customer on June 5, 2013. Copies of the report are also available at the Town Office, located at 10 West Marshall Street.

INVITATION FOR BIDS
CUSTODIAL SERVICES

The Town of Middleburg has issued an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for Custodial Services for the Town Hall, Pink Box Visitor's Center, Health Center Building/Police Department and Liberty Street Restrooms. The contract is for a one-year period, with the option to renew for four additional one year periods.

Bids are due in the Town Office, 10 W. Marshall Street, P. O. Box 187, Middleburg, VA 20118 no later than 11:00 AM on Monday, June 10, 2013.

A tour of the facilities will be conducted on Monday, June 3, 2013 beginning at 10:00 AM in the Town Office.
